Russian producer Stendahl and Swiss vocalist LaMeduza join together to deliver a pensive and emotionally stirring release, "Different Us." Replete with cross-genre rhythms, poignant lyrics, and intriguing bass riffs, the three-track EP is an expert study in understatement. Subtle, captivating melodies and a sweeping atmosphere pervade the entire release, making every track both engaging and meditative.

"You Get Me" lays the foundation of Stendahl & LaMeduza's EP, "Different Us." Pairing a minimal, seductive bass line with LaMeduza's velvety voice, Stendahl weaves a rich aural tapestry, encouraging us to listen ever closer as the track eases forward at steady downtempo rhythm. Tender lyrics gently unveil the EP's emotional content, overlaying a further sense of longing and reflection to an already contemplative atmosphere. Featuring an understated beat reminiscent of the future garage genre, "Couldn't Open Up" masterfully balances wistful, heartfelt vocals with sophisticated pads, gentle piano and a subtly complex, modulated bass line. A delicate, ethereal melody opens "Different You," the final installment of the release.
